What is self-education?

Self-education is the way we can choose the knowledge we want in a free and autonomous way. It is one of the most useful pieces in the development of the human potential and the critical thinking.

This knowledge can come from different sources, especially with the development of Internet  and the new technologies. We want to take part of this movement by generating new spaces where self education can be a new tool for the development of the resistance movement and our communities. Solidarity to xm24 and comrade salvatore pespertino

The Italian government is harassing our comrades in Bologna, and threatening them with eviction and punishment. Allready in bologna they shut down Labas and Crash showing their wild intentions. In Rome they shut down a refugee squat leaving 800 people without home.. Also they invade squats and they took hostages two of our italian comrades.

We will not tolerate this attitude, and we will target the capitalist institutions that cooperate with the Italian State, to raise awareness about its violent and repressive nature,as a solidarity action for the incidents in Italy.We invite all comrades to join us, through direct action or other means, in the struggle against the enemies of a free society.

Kurdish Lessons

Bi xêr hatin!

Rosa de Foc is proud to present the beginning of the self-learning season. During Fall 2017, Winter and Spring 2018 we will be facilitating different classes and workshops to learn theoretical and practical tools of self-management and autonomy. Together we will learn languages, use of liberation technologies, digital and physical self-defense, and whatever YOU want to propose.

The course is dynamic and open to participation. In RdF there are no teachers or students, no exams, and no registration fees; people freely teach what they know and learn what they don’t know.

In RdF however there are schedules. And we like to respect them. Respect for schedules means respect for your comrades.

WHY COLLECTIVE KITCHEN?

We regard meal time as one of the most sacred moments of our life and a time of bonding in a friendly and more loose environment. Eating all together we break the privacy and the detention that the state already imposed to us years now. We understand and we like these moments to be not only for eating and laughing together, but also about exchanging ideas and visions, strengthening our relationships and encouraging political fermentation… We would like to regain the importance of common time cause that’s how we understand the concept of community.

Call for defending the occupation of the Hambach Forest

The Hambach Forest has been occupied for five years.

People have been building and defending tree houses in order to protect the trees they are living on. Officially, the forest is owned by RWE, an energy transnational that does not only want to kill the thousands-of-years-old forest, destroy habitats, dispossess and displace residents from the surrounding villages to generate power. With its production of lignite in the Rhineland along it is responsible for 30% of Germany’s CO2 emissions.

Solidarity to XM24 squat

As international, self-organized collective based on anarchist principles we believe that international solidarity represents the strongest weapon that the movement has. We are all aware that this weapon can be used at different levels, from words to direct actions.

As living squat and self-educational center Rosa de Foc of Exarchia, we believe that is essential to express our solidarity to all the squats and battlegrounds that are under attack from the state’s repression apparatus.

International solidarity with ZAD

As an international housing squat we think solidarity is our weapon, and as we all know weapons have categories, from handguns to nuclear bombs. Revolutionary solidarity doesn’t have boundaries and can only benefit the struggle. We are already starting to try our theories in practice about this.

International solidarity means bringing and taking ideas from one place to another, placing priorities and supporting the place that needs our help the most. Help is not only texts, supplies and solidarity demonstrations in our territory, but also our physical presence there. Working with the people, learning their language and their culture. Basic ingredients if we want to be effective and helpful, because every battle ground is different.
